Misquotes or downright lies?

This is the first of many postings to come concerning the Watchtower Society. I'm sure many of you out there are familiar with the society and its members. Let me start off by saying that this blog is meant SOLELY to inform and not bash this religion. There are in fact many well intended Jehovah's Witnesses but rather misinformed due to lack of information. There are many doctrines that can (and later will) be mentioned but I want to discuss one of my main concerns in life....truth.

Allow me to define truth as absolute and not multiple choice. If this were to be the case then by what merit do we base a lie of a particular subject? I think you get my drift here, relativity=changing, therefore the yin and yang of truth/false cancels each other out.

Now, there's much to be said on a religion and how they "teach/know" truth, but it's another dilemma when a religion blatantly lies to it's adherents. It's a different level when an organization/religion falsifies it's own past to support it's CURRENT held view. Also, to misquote religious scholars and leave out the FULL quotes in a publication, is deception to say the least. The WBTS has such a history (no pun intended) of doing just that. Consider some of these publication scans.........
